Job Title: Chartered Quantity Surveyor
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Chartered Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Ridge & Partners LLP. As a key member of our cost management team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality cost management services to our clients. Your expertise will be essential in supporting the management of projects from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cost Planning and Control: Deliver accurate cost plans and manage project finances to ensure timely completion and profitability.
- Design and Procurement: Collaborate with the design team to ensure accurate cost estimates and manage procurement activities.
- Contract Administration: Prepare and administer construction contracts, ensuring compliance with NEC and JCT standards.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of cost managers, providing guidance and support to ensure high standards of service delivery.
- Bid Preparation: Contribute to the preparation and submission of bids, ensuring accurate cost estimates and project feasibility.
Requirements:
- Chartered Quantity Surveyor status or equivalent.
- Experience in cost management, preferably in a consultancy environment.
- Strong understanding of key benchmarking metrics (EUQs and EURs) and 3D digital tools.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
