We are seeking a skilled Engineering Maintenance Specialist to join our team at AG Barr in Milton Keynes. As an Engineering Maintenance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring maximum equipment availability and reliability across our site.

The successful candidate will have experience in electrical and mechanical engineering maintenance, with a strong understanding of industrial control systems and PLCs. A City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in a mechanical/electrical engineering discipline is essential.

In this role, you will be responsible for undertaking planned preventative and corrective maintenance activities, identifying continuous improvement opportunities, and implementing sustainable remedial solutions. You will also work closely with the equipment users to understand problems and ensure that efficient solutions are implemented.

As an Engineering Maintenance Specialist at AG Barr, you will be part of a dynamic team reporting to the Engineering Team Leader. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Undertaking planned preventative and corrective maintenance across all equipment on the site, recommending improvements where appropriate.
  • Diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to electrical and mechanical equipment, implementing permanent corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities, working collaboratively with colleagues to optimize processes.
  • Maintaining accurate records of downtime and production output, providing detailed written reports as required.

We offer a competitive salary range of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including up to 33 days' holiday, flexible holiday trading, and a pension scheme.
