**Job Description:**

The RSA is seeking an experienced Curator of Archives to lead the professional management and care of its extensive Archive, housed in a 250-year-old Grade I/II listed building.

This is a rare opportunity to join a 270-year-old charity with a proven track record of significant social impact. The successful candidate will have proven experience as an Archivist, with expertise in cataloguing archive collections, managing digitisation programs, and loaning processes.

We are committed to creating a better future for everyone, and our mission is to enable people, places, and the planet to flourish in harmony. As part of our team, you will be responsible for achieving greater impact by professionally managing and caring for our Archive.

To be successful in this role, you will need strong IT skills, good communication skills, and a keen interest in Arts, Manufactures, and Commerce artefacts. You will also have a good working knowledge of the Data Protection Act and copyright issues.

The salary for this position is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
