**Job Summary**

Digital Gurus is seeking an experienced Microsoft Purview Specialist to assist in the deployment and rollout of Microsoft Purview. The ideal candidate will act as a consultant with deep technical expertise, capable of guiding our data governance and data management teams through the entire process.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Lead the deployment, configuration, and rollout of Microsoft Purview across the organisation.
  • Collaborate with data governance and data management teams to integrate Purview into existing workflows.
  • Provide expert guidance on utilising Purview as a front-end tool for data discovery and governance.
  • Identify and address gaps in current data governance practices to optimise Purview's effectiveness.

**Required Skills and Experience:**

  • Proven experience with Microsoft Purview, including deployment, configuration, and rollout.
  • Strong technical background in data governance and data management.
  • Ability to troubleshoot challenges faced by teams in using Purview effectively.
  • Experience in developing training materials, onboarding programs, and support strategies to ensure successful adoption of Purview.

**Project Roadmap:**

  • Work closely with analysts to ensure they can effectively use Purview to find and manage data.
  • Develop a clear roadmap for Purview's integration within the organisation, ensuring alignment with existing governance strategies.
  • Provide ongoing support and expertise to ensure continuous improvement in data governance.
  • Create documentation and pathways to bridge the gap between data governance strategies and Purview's functionality.
