Treasury Analyst

Hutcheon Mearns Ltd, a high growth private equity backed business, seeks an experienced Treasury Analyst to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates to develop their skills and progress in their career.

The selected candidate will support the Group Treasury Manager in managing short and medium-term liquidity of the Group through accurate cash flow forecasting, managing group cash, and proactively addressing issues that arise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cash flow management at the group level by consolidating 13-week forecasts from divisions
• Work closely with regional finance teams to understand weekly and monthly funding requirements to assist treasury in meeting ongoing intercompany lending and liquidity needs
• Manage day-to-day cash management by repatriating and transferring balances to ensure group funding requirements are met and anticipated in advance
• Support the development of treasury operations to deliver transactions required to meet funding of payables across multicurrency accounts
• Prepare cash flow presentations for the monthly board pack
• Utilize borrowing facilities and execute trades for term deposits and FX to maintain group liquidity and headroom requirements
• Support the preparation of weekly cash reports, noting reasons for variances and managing cash repatriations where surplus liquidity is held
• Facilitate the opening and closing of bank accounts
