We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Programmes to lead the development and delivery of high-quality content in our Natural History Unit.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing a clear vision for content development and delivery.
  • Leading a team of executive producers and series editors to deliver high-quality content to clients.
  • Ensuring content meets client requirements and is delivered on time and within budget.
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders to understand client needs and ensure alignment with our content strategy.
  • Managing the production budget and ensuring financial responsibility.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrable expertise in content development and delivery, with a focus on factual genres.
  • Minimum two years senior leadership experience in production or commissioning.
  • Strong understanding of audience trends and industry marketplace.
  • Proven track record of creative and editorial achievement.
  • Effective planning and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
