About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team in Lincoln. As an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting young children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a dynamic and inclusive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the class teacher to deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the EYFS framework.
  • Plan and implement activities that promote children's learning and development.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to children with SEN, ensuring they receive the necessary guidance and encouragement.
  • Monitor and document children's progress and development, contributing to the planning of their educational pathways.
  • Contribute to maintaining a positive, safe, and productive classroom environment.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Relevant experience working in an EYFS setting, with a strong understanding of the curriculum and learning strategies.
  • Proven SEN experience with the ability to adapt teaching methods and provide specialist support.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant certificate, or similar educational background.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with children, colleagues, and parents.
  • Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach to work effectively with young learners.
  • A competitive salary of £85-90 per day, depending on experience, and opportunities for professional development and career growth.
