Job Title: Learning Support Assistant - SEN Hub Role

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Learning Support Assistant to join our SEN Hub team in a primary school. As an LSA, you will play a vital role in providing individualized support to students with special educational needs, working closely with teachers and SENCOs to create personalized learning plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and adapt educational plans to support students' individual learning requirements.
  • Provide one-on-one and group assistance to students during classroom activities and lessons.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, promoting their well-being and engagement.
  • Assist in the implementation of behavior management strategies tailored to students' needs.
  • Collaborate with parents and other professionals to ensure a holistic support system.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant, especially in providing support to students with SEN needs, is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for supporting individual student success.
  • Initiative and a willingness to collaborate with the teaching team.
