The RoleWe're seeking a dynamic and ambitious Sales Assistant to join our team in Oxford. As a Sales Assistant, you'll play a key role in driving sales performance and delivering exceptional customer service. You'll be responsible for supporting your store team, maximising sales opportunities, and providing a VIP concierge service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Drive store performance by maximising sales opportunities and supporting your team to meet and exceed targets.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to drive business growth through customer loyalty and repeat purchases.
- Offer a VIP concierge service to our customers, actively contacting them with updates on products and tastings.
- Sell the story, not the discount, by demonstrating and sharing your passion for our products with customers.
- Take ownership of your wine knowledge, constantly learning about our products to support your WSET qualification and confidence in selling.
- Take accountability and pride in the physical appearance and maintenance of your store, both internally and externally.
- Involvement in all operational tasks required for the day-to-day running of a Majestic Wine store, including delivering wine to customers, merchandising stock deliveries, and calling valued customers to drive sales opportunities.
- Continuously identify opportunities to make improvements that will optimise the operational running of the store, feeding ideas back to your wider team to implement solutions together.
- Ensure you remain fully compliant, safe, and legal by following internal policies, processes, and completing mandatory training.
- Be an example of Majestic's Ways of Working and a source of support for more junior team members, feeding back to your Store Manager as appropriate.
- As a key holder, you'll understand the opening and closing compliance and be confident to operate the store without your management team.
