Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and specifying all Mechanical Building Services systems, including heating and cooling systems. You will also be responsible for collaborating with the BIM team to prepare models and drawings with Revit, and representing the organisation at meetings with clients and contractors.

Key Responsibilities

* Design and specification of all Mechanical Building Services systems
* Collaboration with BIM team to prepare models and drawings with Revit
* Representation of the organisation at meetings with clients and contractors
* Site surveys, inspections and monitoring of site works
* Report and technical note writing

Requirements

* Degree qualified, or equivalent qualification, in Building Services Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or related subjects
* Good level of computer literacy in a range of digital tools, including IES Thermal Modelling and HevaComp
* Understanding of energy and carbon related data capture and analytics
* Competent in designing for measurement and verification, including experience of commissioning and post installation evaluation of performance
* Experience of working in a design consultancy and/or some experience of working within a contractor design environment
