Opus People Solutions is seeking a Clinical Lead to join our team in Christchurch.

As the Clinical Lead, you will work in our client's nursing home, collaborating closely with carers and nurses. With support from the management team, you will lead the nursing team, focusing on maintaining high standards of clinical care and governance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement clinical governance policies and NICE guidelines in collaboration with the Home Manager to ensure compliance with NMC and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain accurate care records and ensure care plans meet residents' needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Mentor and coach nurses and carers on clinical practices, including medication administration, wound care, and health assessments.
  • Monitor clinical standards, identify areas for improvement, and implement necessary changes.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages staff engagement and development, working closely with the Home Manager and management team.
Requirements:
  • NMC Registered Nurse status
  • Management experience or experience leading a small team
  • A passion for promoting best nursing practices, with the ability to train, support, and mentor others
  • Good working knowledge of audits, safeguarding, DOLS, CQC, and compliance
