About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Vetting Support Officer to join our team at Gold Group. As a key member of our Security Services department, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of security cleared personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Recruitment in obtaining security clearances and checks for all new employees.
  • Manage confidential and complex vetting enquiries, ensuring timely and accurate results.
  • Collaborate with external IT platforms to obtain and update security clearances, maintaining the highest level of security and compliance.
  • Provide support to areas of Security Services, contributing to the overall success of the department.
  • Lead on departmental projects, driving successful implementation and meeting deadlines.
  • Support the Personnel Security Manager in the implementation of the Vetting Strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and risk reduction.
Requirements
  • Experience in the use of electronic Vetting Databases and multi-IT platforms.
  • Relevant vetting and Personnel Security experience or qualification.
  • Personnel Security awareness for the ongoing aftercare of security cleared staff.
  • Presentation skills for the delivery of training and effective communication.
