English Teacher Required

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic English Teacher to join our thriving English department at a well-established Secondary School in Ealing, London.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified English Teacher to teach English literature and language to KS3 and 4 students, with the possibility of teaching KS5. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience teaching English and will be able to plan and deliver engaging and inspiring lessons.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach English literature and language to KS3 and 4 students
  • Plan and deliver engaging and inspiring lessons
  • Assess and evaluate student progress
  • Develop and implement effective classroom management strategies
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve English curriculum
Requirements
  • QTS or equivalent qualification (PGCE, M.A, B.A, Cert. Ed.)
  • Strong knowledge of the UK English Curriculum
  • Passion for the English subject
  • Ability to plan and deliver inspirational, encouraging and engaging lessons
  • Strong classroom management
  • Proactive and enthusiastic approach to teaching English
