As a Waste Loader in Wick, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our streets.

">Key Tasks:">

  • Loading Behind Refuse/Recycling Lorry: Load waste materials efficiently and safely.">
  • Street Scene Management: Maintain high standards of cleanliness and appearance on our streets.">
  • Deliver/Uplift Recycling/Refuse Containers: Assist in distributing and collecting waste containers.">
  • Basic Record Keeping or Other Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate records and complete necessary paperwork.">
  • Uplift of Animal Carcasses: Safely remove animal remains.">
">Requirements and Qualifications:">
  • ">
  • Awareness of Health and Safety: Practice safety protocols at all times.">
  • Communication Skills: Interact positively with team members and the public.">
  • Physical Fitness: Maintain a good level of fitness for manual labour.">
  • Full Valid UK Driver's Licence (Preferred): Advantageous for certain tasks.">
  • Administrative Skills: Manage simple forms and paperwork.">
