Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver engaging Physics lessons that meet the individual needs of students
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Develop and implement lesson plans in line with the national curriculum
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective teaching strategies
  • Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills
  • Manage student records and maintain accurate attendance, behavior, and achievement data

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Physics or a related subject
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Physics at the secondary level
  • Excellent understanding of the national curriculum and assessment practices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to engage and motivate students
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development

Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 per year, depending on experience.
