Job Description

Serco is a leading international service company that delivers essential services to millions of people worldwide. We are seeking a skilled Tree Surveyor to join our Environmental Services team in Woking, Surrey.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from £40,000 to £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including a contributory pension scheme, Employee Assistance Programme, and access to exclusive discounts and deals.

Job Purpose

The successful candidate will work as part of our operational team, providing arboriculture support and technical expertise. Key responsibilities include administering the organisation's asset management system, PSS (trees), undertaking tree surveys, and generating reports and statistics.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Numerate and literate to good standard with GCSE grade A-C/O level.
  • Well-organised, self-motivated, and able to prioritise a changing workload to meet deadlines.
  • Good IT skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, MS Word, and email.
  • Excellent observation and decision-making skills, able to make expert recommendations on tree issues.
  • Excellent communication skills in verbal and written form.
