Job Title: Safety and Environmental Specialist

The Red Bull Racing Formula One Team is seeking a skilled Safety and Environmental Specialist to join their team. This role will play a crucial part in supporting offsite events, including show car events, Grand Prix's, trackside activities, hospitality, and marketing events.

This position requires a strong background in safety management, with experience in developing and implementing compliance against Health and Safety related processes, procedures, and ways of working. The successful candidate will also have excellent communication skills, with the ability to work closely with various departments to ensure effective communication across relevant health & safety matters.

A key aspect of this role will be driving continuous improvement, helping to develop a cultural change in the mindset of all employees while ensuring a pragmatic approach to support business needs. You will form part of the wider Safety, Health and Environment team, supporting with the development and implementation of the campus Safety, Health and Environmental strategy.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive a positive culture at offsite events, with a focus on race calendar related and associated business units and functions.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor compliance against Health and Safety related processes, procedures, and ways of working.
  • Support with risk assessments where required and drive implementation of necessary control measures in conjunction with relevant departments.
  • Regular inspections and audits of events ensuring ongoing monitoring and continual improvement.
  • Management of Safety, Health and Environment incident reporting/investigating and ensuring effective close out in a prompt manner in line with relevant procedures.
  • Compiling and supporting the completion of accreditation to support the requirements set out by the GP venues.
  • Arrange, participate, and lead relevant engagements and meetings as required to discuss, monitor, and ensure effective communication across relevant health & safety matters.
  • Ensure legal compliance with local requirements at race/event locations, as well as compliance with company standards and policies.
  • Work with departments to appoint safety champions to embed a safety culture.
  • Producing performance reports to support agreed KPIs.
  • Implementing and conducting a training schedule to educate and coach line managers and employees on Safety, Health and Environmental topics.
  • Provide support, guidance, and advice to employees on Safety, Health & Environment related topics.

Requirements:
  • Relevant professional qualifications in Safety, Health and Environment management.
  • Competent user of Microsoft programmes and Safety management software.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within either F1, Motorsport or the Automotive industry would be beneficial, but not essential.

Benefits:
