Salary / Benefits: £28,000 - £36,000 + Training + Benefits

A reputable Environmental Consultancy is seeking an experienced Asbestos Lab Analyst to join their team in the West Midlands region. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working in a fast-paced, UKAS accredited laboratory, carrying out sample analysis in line with HSG 248 guidelines.

About the Role:

1. Evaluate and analyze asbestos samples using PLM and stereo microscopy.
2. Maintain the company's UKAS accreditation by ensuring accurate and timely completion of job sheets.
3. Liaise with clients, providing technical advice and support when required.
4. Ensure the laboratory remains clean and well-maintained, with all equipment correctly calibrated for accuracy.
5. Assist in maintaining high-quality standards within the laboratory environment.

Requirements:

• Holding the BOHS P401 qualification is essential for this role.
• Prior experience working in a busy, UKAS accredited laboratory is necessary.
• Excellent organisational skills, prioritising workload to meet company and client needs.
• In-depth knowledge of HSG 248 guidelines and regulations.
