Principal Designer and CDM Consultancy Services Lead

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Partner to lead our Principal Designer & CDM Consultancy services business unit.
The successful candidate will play a key role in managing, overseeing, and growing the business unit, while remaining hands-on and client-facing. They will lead a team of Consultants, Associates, and Directors, delivering high-quality services on projects ranging from £500k to £500m across various sectors, including blue-chip and public sector clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Setting long-term goals and aligning the company's objectives with market trends and regulatory changes.
Business Development: Identifying opportunities for growth, securing new contracts, and expanding the client base.
Process Improvement: Continuously improving the firm's processes, workflows, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
Industry Representation: Representing the consultancy at industry events, conferences, and meetings to increase the firm's visibility.
Client Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering repeat business.
Team Leadership: Leading a well-qualified team of consultants, providing mentorship and guidance.
Financial Management: Overseeing the financial health of the consultancy, including budget management, cost control, and profitability analysis.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in a design or construction management-related field, CMaPS status, and Chartered Membership of a relevant body. They will also have experience in delivering Principal Designer and Client CDM Advisor services at a Director or business unit lead level. The company offers a competitive salary of £100-120k plus strong benefits.
