Job Description

Role Summary:

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join our team as an Radiography Service Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education and training to staff across the cross-sectional imaging service.

The ideal candidate will have experience in teaching and assessing, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage staff effectively. They will also possess developed judgment and decision-making skills, with a reflective thinking and outlook.

About Us:

We are a leading healthcare provider in Gloucestershire, managing services across 10 sites. Our Radiology Directorate offers a broad range of sub-specialty work, including adult and paediatric radiography, mobile imaging, general radiography, cardiac and interventional, digital fluoroscopy, CT, MRI, and Ultrasound.

We are committed to providing a high-quality diagnostic service, and we are looking for a dedicated individual to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality education and training to staff across the cross-sectional imaging service
  • Provide continuous professional clinical leadership and supervision to the multi-disciplinary Radiology department team
  • Act as a role model and promote effective team-working to provide a high-quality diagnostic service
  • Develop and improve clinical expertise both personally and for the team via continuous professional development

Person Specification:

  • BSc Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent
  • HCPC registration
  • Level 3 teaching and assessing qualification or equivalent
  • Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
