Locum General Practice Nurse
About the Role:We are seeking a qualified and experienced Practice Nurse to join our team in GP practices across Kent. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience working in General Practice and possess treatment room skills.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing assessment, screening, and treatment services, as well as health education advice to patients.
Main Duties:
- Providing general and specific health screenings to practice patients
- Advise patients on general health care and minor ailments
- Phlebotomy
- Dressings
- Infection Control
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A relevant nursing degree
- Current NMC registration
- Experience working in General Practice
- Treatment room skills
- Cervical screening training
- Childhood and Travel immunisation training
The salary for this role is up to £30 per hour, paid weekly through an excellent payroll system. You will also have the option to choose from PAYE or Ltd/Umbrella schemes.
