About the Role

The Workdry Group is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Procurement Director to drive the procurement transformation and lead the development of a centre-led operation. As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive procurement strategy that supports all global business units and entities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a procurement strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Lead the procurement and supply chain function, ensuring cost control and financial efficiency.
  • Monitor and determine the most cost-effective levels of finished goods and raw materials inventory.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement across key processes, technology, products, services, and experiences.
  • Lead strategic cost optimisation efforts through people, process improvements, technology, products, services, and experiences.
  • Establish policies and procedures for all procurement activities, including direct and indirect categories.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing procurement and supply chain team.
  • Adopt overall accountability for the end-to-end procurement process, including supplier selection, contract negotiation, supplier agreements, and supplier performance management.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in procurement and supply chain, with demonstrable experience as an effective member of a senior leadership team.
  • Expertise in procurement within a manufacturing, equipment rental, or construction-related industries is favourable.
  • Able to craft a clear vision and sourcing roadmap with advanced technology embedded.
  • Exceptional and effective cross-functional collaborator, both internally and externally with strategic suppliers.
  • Proven track record of leading a regional/global procurement function.
  • Experience working with sourcing tools, including Spend Analytics, Contract Management, and P2P platforms.
  • Broad experience in direct manufacturing categories and indirect category spend.
  • Experience working for a scale-up business and adept at working with ambiguity/change.
  • Proven success in developing and executing procurement and supply chain strategies at a Group level.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management and supplier relationship management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
