Job Description

At StandardAero, we're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Stores Team Leader to join our team. As a key member of our Supply Chain department, you will be responsible for leading a team of Stores Handlers and ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of Stores Handlers and provide guidance on priorities, targets, and operational requirements.
  • Work closely with business units to ensure operational requirements are met to cost, quality, and target dates.
  • Assist Planners and Buyers in locating and directing parts to production areas.
  • Receipt and deliver stock, update central spreadsheets, and provide relevant KPIs for Logistics functions.
  • Issue and deliver stock in line with planned requirements, KPIs, and agreed timescales.
  • Collect, pack, and issue goods from Despatch areas on time.
  • Ensure correct paperwork, identification, and certification received with goods.
  • Undertake routine inventory counts and random stock checks as directed.
  • Comply with risk assessments and internal procedures when handling, packing, storing, and shipping of Dangerous Goods.
  • Actively contribute to Continuous Improvement within the Logistics/Supply Chain department.

Professional Qualifications/Education and Training:
  • An appropriate warehousing qualification would be advantageous.
  • Certified in: Dangerous Goods Handling.
  • Fork Lift Truck licence.
Experience:
  • Working within a Supply Chain in an Aerospace MRO environment.
  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Team Leader with experience of supervising and motivating a team.
  • Knowledge and understanding of lean techniques may be advantageous.
  • Good understanding of certification requirements.
