We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Complex Care Support Worker to join our team at SNAP Care. This is a unique opportunity to work with a young adult with complex care needs and make a meaningful difference in their life.
Key Responsibilities- Provide 2:1 support to Winnie, a 17-year-old with Cerebral Palsy, scoliosis, Dystonia, and other medical needs.
- Assist with daily living activities, health care, and medical needs, promoting independence and exploring new hobbies and interests.
- Work collaboratively with Winnie's family, therapy team, and other healthcare professionals to ensure her well-being and quality of life.
- Travel with Winnie on holidays and outings, providing support and companionship.
- Experience supporting children or young adults with complex care and medical needs.
- Confident in all aspects of manual handling and suctioning.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work days, waking nights, and weekends, with a minimum of 4 weeks' notice for the rota.
- Driver (WAV) and non-smoker/vaper essential.
