Vehicle Damage Assessor Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor to join our team at FMG Repair Services. As a key member of our bodyshop team, you will be responsible for assessing damaged vehicles, identifying the correct repair method, and preparing estimates for insurance companies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess damaged vehicles and identify the correct repair method
  • Prepare estimates for insurance companies
  • Liaise with insurance companies to obtain authority to repair
  • Work effectively with customers, engineers, and technicians to explain and ensure understanding of repair methodology
Requirements:
  • NVQ level 3/City & Guilds or ATA qualified
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
