About The Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to join our team as the Head of Simulation Education. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality simulation-based education.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our simulation education programs across the trust. They will lead a team of educators and work closely with clinical teams to ensure that our simulation activities meet the needs of all staff groups, students, and volunteers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in simulation, education, and leadership. They will have experience in budget management, program development, and team leadership. A postgraduate qualification in education or a related field would be desirable.

This is a full-time role, based at Hillingdon Hospital. The salary for this position is approximately £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and manage simulation education programs across the trust.
  • Lead a team of educators and work closely with clinical teams to ensure that simulation activities meet the needs of all staff groups, students, and volunteers.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to improve the skills and knowledge of healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure that simulation activities align with trust objectives.
  • Manage budgets and resources to deliver high-quality simulation education programs.
