Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager Electrical Services to join our team at Morson Talent. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical building services maintenance, with experience in managing FM projects across a portfolio of buildings.

This role involves overseeing minor FM projects, including fixed wire testing and maintenance of emergency lights and alarms. You will also be responsible for managing general contractor oversight, ensuring compliance with specifications and safety standards.

The successful candidate will provide technical guidance and support to team members and subcontractors, ensuring accurate documentation and reports are completed on time. Additionally, you will proactively reduce energy consumption on site and supervise visiting subcontractors regarding the standard of work and health and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of minor FM projects, including fixed wire testing and maintenance of emergency lights and alarms.
  • Management of general contractor oversight and compliance with specifications and safety standards.
  • Proactive reduction of energy consumption on site.
  • Supervision of visiting subcontractors regarding the standard of work and health and safety.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Relevant certifications, such as 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations and City & Guilds 2391 Test and Inspection.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

About the Company:

Morson Talent is a leading engineering consultancy business, currently seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager Electrical Services to join their team and support on a variety of projects for West Midlands Police.

Salary: £50 - £60 per hour (inside IR35).
