Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Children's Nurse to join our team within the Children and Young People Emergency Department at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care to children up to 18 years old, working as part of a caring and passionate nursing team. Key duties will include:

  • Care of paediatric patients within the Emergency Department and Paediatric Assessment Unit
  • Providing care from arrival to discharge or transfer
  • Leading by example, promoting safeguarding, wellbeing, and interests of patients and their families
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Nursing & Midwifery Council Level 1 Registration in Children's Nursing
  • Current NMC Registration
  • Experience working within an acute or community setting
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice
  • Ability to work within the boundaries of the NMC Code of Professional Conduct
