Job Description:
Risktec Solutions Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantitative Safety Specialist to join our team in Edinburgh. This exciting role will provide the opportunity to work on complex quantitative technical safety projects nationally and internationally.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in risk management and process safety, with a strong background in consequence modelling using industry-standard software and techniques. They will also possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to prepare high-quality technical proposals and reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Providing technical safety support to senior colleagues and clients, including consequence modelling and technical safety studies.
  • Preparing technical proposals and reports for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring technical accuracy and quality.
  • Project/client management as appropriate to experience.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or equivalent, with 3+ years of relevant technical safety studies experience. Strong computer literacy and numerical analysis skills are essential, as is proficiency in analytical software tools.
