Mobile HVAC Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mobile HVAC Engineer to join our team at Skillmatch Recruitment Ltd. As a Mobile HVAC Engineer, you will be responsible for providing maintenance and repair services for air conditioning equipment, including split AC systems, VRV/VRF systems, and heat pumps.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake maintenance and repair of air conditioning equipment, including service, maintenance, and repair of split AC systems, VRV/VRF systems, and heat pumps.
  • Work on specific refrigeration equipment such as chilled cabinets, multideck, or ice machines.
  • Understand installation designs and bespoke manufacturer trouble shooting procedures.
  • Complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time, keeping logs of inspections reports and remedial work.

Requirements:

  • Experience within a Maintenance / Facilities Management environment.
  • Full current driving licence and willingness to participate in an On-Call rota.
  • Capable of performing manual tasks, including manual handling, working at heights, and in confined spaces.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to use a handheld computer device (PDA).
  • Highly self-motivated and solutions-focused, with the ability to work without supervision but also enjoy working as part of a team.
