Job Overview

As a skilled mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and maintenance of our large fleet of commercial vehicles. We are looking for an experienced individual to join our team as the Foreman at our Automotive facility in Southampton.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in vehicle mechanics and be able to work efficiently on their own initiative, prioritizing tasks accordingly. They will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and stock control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expertly handle a variety of repairs and maintenance work on a large fleet
  • Carry out regular maintenance inspections and complete online records
  • Work as part of a team with a focus on quality to achieve reliability and maintenance targets

Requirements:

  • City and Guilds or equivalent qualification in vehicle mechanics
  • Experience of working with commercial vehicles including LGVs
  • Basic computer literacy skills
  • Full UK driving license held for at least 2 years
  • An LGV Class 1 license would be an advantage but is not essential
