School Kitchen Leader Position Available

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Head Cook to lead our Catering Team at New Quay Primary School.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the school kitchen, preparing and serving healthy meals to pupils, and ensuring compliance with food safety and health regulations. This role requires strong leadership and organisational skills, as well as excellent communication abilities.

The salary for this position is £25,000-£32,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a range of benefits, including competitive annual leave allowance and a generous pension contribution scheme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the school kitchen, including menu planning and preparation.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations.
  • Prepare and serve healthy meals to pupils.

Requirements:

  • Experience/knowledge of working within a catering environment.
