The Role

We are seeking a skilled CNC Miller to join our team at MTrec Ltd Technical. As a CNC Miller, you will be responsible for setting up and running jobs using information from engineering drawings, operating and programming CNC machines, and ensuring machine safety guidelines are being followed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Setting up and running jobs using information from engineering drawings
  • Operating and programming CNC machines
  • Ensuring machine safety guidelines are being followed
  • Ensuring correct PPE is always worn
  • Being responsible for the production and scheduling of work
  • Monitoring product standards and supporting quality-control procedures
  • Maximising productivity, minimising downtime of machines
  • Providing daily/weekly/monthly performance reports and analysis as required
  • Ensuring the highest standards of housekeeping are maintained throughout the machine shop
The Person

We are looking for a time-served miller with experience using Mazak preferred. You should be able to set, operate, and programme machines using above controls. A machining background and general all-round knowledge/experience are essential. Self-discipline and reliability are also key requirements.
