We are seeking an enthusiastic professional to join our Caithness Community Drug and Alcohol Recovery Service team in Thurso. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing person-centred care to individuals struggling with substance abuse under the supervision of a Drug and Alcohol Recovery Nurse.

Your primary role will involve carrying out agreed programmes of care tailored to support recovery. You will also engage in assertive outreach efforts to identify individuals at risk of harm. A driving licence is mandatory for this position, as applicants must have access to their own vehicle for work purposes.

This is a fixed-term full-time position of 37 hours per week until March 2026. Work schedules will be determined by service requirements. The salary for this role is approximately £27,000-£30,000 annually, based on national averages. Please note that this role does not meet the eligibility criteria for a Skilled Worker visa or a Health and Care Worker visa.
