Job Description:

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Behaviour Support Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our educational staff, you will work closely with classroom teachers to support student learning and development. Your role will involve providing one-on-one assistance, facilitating group activities, and contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively with teachers to identify areas where additional support is needed
  • Develop and implement effective behaviour support plans to help students overcome challenges
  • Provide individualised support to students with complex needs, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and report back to teachers and parents as necessary
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A calm and positive manner to control challenging behaviour
  • An Enhanced DBS check
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work effectively with children of all ages and abilities
