About the Role:
Bates and Bradshaw Ltd are recruiting on behalf of a major construction and maintenance company in the Hull area who operate as one of the leading building, repairs, and maintenance contractors. They are presently employing around 500 people and have a turnover of £50m and they have some ambitious plans in place to grow this again over the coming years.
Purpose of the Role:
- To deliver high-quality plastering and tiling services for responsive or routine maintenance repairs
- To deliver plastering and tiling work on construction contracts
- To discuss issues directly on site with customers to determine exact requirements
- To carry out work to specifications, drawings, and work sheets
- To undertake joinery work in various locations with minimal supervision
- To act as a mentor within the workplace for apprentices
- To accurately complete all relevant internal and external paperwork
- To drive company vehicles responsibly
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 4.30pm (40 hours per week)
Qualifications and Skills:
- Time Served or City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2 Plastering (Preferred not Essential)
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Clean Shaven
