Job Summary:
Polaris Children's Services is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Child Protection Specialist to join their team in Mansfield. This is a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract role that requires working with children, young people, and families with complex needs.

Polaris Children's Services delivers innovative services that prioritize outcomes-based support for children, young people, and families. As a key player in the Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, and Derby areas, they aim to reunify and divert children from the edge of care.

Key Responsibilities:
- Hold case responsibility and oversee the delivery of intervention services to children, young people, and families.
- Respond to referrals or service requests from Local Authority partners and implement, monitor, and review service plans in partnership with other agencies.
- Refer children, young people, and families to specialist or universal services as needed and contribute to regular returns/contract monitoring reports to customers.

Requirements:
- A Social Work qualification recognized by Social Work England or an equivalent body.
- Proven experience working with children, young people, and families with complex needs, including child protection issues.
- Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation and good practice publications related to children's services and fostering.

Benefits:
- Up to £30,450 per annum salary (dependent on experience).
- 37.5 hours per week, flexible working arrangements, and hybrid model with 2 days in the office.
- Enhanced mileage, company pension, life assurance, employee discount scheme, and 30 days annual leave (rising to 35 days with length of service) plus Bank Holidays.
