Maths Education Specialist Role

We are seeking a Maths Education Specialist to provide temporary maths tutoring support to students in a secondary school setting.

The ideal candidate will have experience teaching maths at the secondary level, a strong understanding of maths concepts and principles, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The role involves working part-time hours as a temporary maths tutor, adhering to the school's policies and procedures, and collaborating with other staff members to support student learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide maths tutoring support to students
  • Create individualised learning plans to meet the needs of each student
  • Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff

Requirements:

  • Experience teaching maths at the secondary level
  • Strong understanding of maths concepts and principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Working Conditions:

The role involves working part-time hours as a temporary maths tutor in a secondary school setting. The tutor will need to adhere to the school's policies and procedures and collaborate with other staff members to support student learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
