Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Packaging Driver to join our team at Sodexo. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of our services.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Managing meal orders and associated administration to meet customer expectations and quality standards.
  • Coordinating meal orders, mess room provisions, and overtime meals in line with our operating procedures.
  • Preparing orders and requisitions to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  • Supervising and controlling the completion of cleaning schedules to maintain a safe and clean working environment.
  • Ensuring high standards of personal hygiene, catering hygiene practices, and safety are followed at all times.
  • Maintaining temperature monitoring records and adhering to cook chill procedures.
  • Dispatching and delivering procedures in line with our cook chill procedures.
  • Maintaining records required for the efficient operation of the cook chill operation.
  • Providing excellent customer service and implementing customer care procedures.

Requirements:

  • Holds a basic food hygiene certificate or equivalent.
  • Holds a full UK driving license.
  • Previous experience in a catering, food industry, or hospitality environment.
  • Ability to work in cold environments and stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry foodstuffs and equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work unsupervised.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and customer care.
