Project Director

Our Finance business unit is seeking a Project Director on a fixed-term contract, based in Glasgow. The successful candidate will deliver selected technology projects within our Finance business unit.

The Role:

• Shape and ensure the definition of projects; identify and communicate with stakeholders to ensure project alignment with other key business objectives.
• Build and deliver appropriate projects, milestones, and sprint plans.
• Own the issue and risk management process.
• Project Execution and leadership of the project team.
• Define resource dependencies across the ATS teams, business contributors, and external partners.
• Manage project demands; intercept issues and implement countermeasures as required.
• Communicate key risks and issues to the PMO, project team, and to business stakeholders.

You'll have the following skills and experience:

• 4+ years' experience in a technology project management role.
• Experience working within a Finance function.
• APM or Prince 2 certification - foundation (practitioner desirable).
• Proven stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in executing Waterfall, Agile projects, or Hybrid methodologies.
• Structured approach to problem solving and improvement planning.
• Able to work under pressure and to tight timelines.
• Experience of delivering technical projects in an enterprise environment.

Estimated salary: £60,000-£80,000 per annum
