Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate to join our Construction Law team in our Oxford office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for advising on construction obligations in property documents, drafting bespoke documents, and negotiating with clients and other parties.


Key Responsibilities

  • Advising on construction obligations in property documents
  • Drafting bespoke documents, including consultant appointments, collateral warranties, and parent company guarantees
  • Negotiating with clients and other parties
  • Reviewing or drafting sub-contracts and collateral warranties from sub-contractors and sub-consultants
  • Assisting with corporate, real estate, and funding due diligence
  • Drafting advice reports to clients
  • Leading on post-completion matters
  • Legal research
  • Assisting our clients' in-house legal teams

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with 5+ years of PQE and an experienced background in construction work gained post-qualification. You will have excellent written English, attention to detail, and strong IT skills.
