Job Summary

We are seeking an exceptional Advanced Learning Disability Physiotherapist to join our team. As a specialist physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in empowering patients to take control of their lives by providing high-quality person-centered care. This fixed-term position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in our communities.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will possess a registered practitioner degree/diploma supplemented by specialist post-registration diploma-level training. Membership of the relevant Professional Body and experience at Practitioner Band 5 level are also essential. A demonstrable track record of managing persistent pain, along with specialist clinical reasoning skills for diagnosis and intervention, is crucial for success in this role.

You will be responsible for devising and delivering training, supervising and mentoring junior staff, and prioritizing workload effectively. Your ability to communicate complex information effectively and negotiate/persuade when necessary will be invaluable assets in this position.
