At Leonardo, we are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Design and Manufacture Engineer. As a key member of our Engineering community, you will be responsible for designing, manufacturing, and supporting advanced avionic equipment.

You will study at the University of Strathclyde for a BEng (Hons) in Engineering: Design & Manufacture, combining work-based learning, distance learning, and day release at University. Upon completion, you will have met the requirements for Incorporated Engineer as part of the way to gaining Chartered Engineer status.

As a Design and Manufacture Engineer at Leonardo, you will be working on a variety of challenging projects that will help develop your skills and knowledge in engineering. You will be part of a team that is passionate about delivering high-quality results, and you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology.

The role will involve learning how to design, manufacture, and support advanced avionic equipment, developing engineering knowledge, skills, and behaviours, and practicing the full engineering lifecycle. The final positions will be within the Radar and Advanced Targeting Sector in Edinburgh.

We are looking for individuals who are eager to learn, have a drive to deliver results, and are able to work well as part of a team. You will have a strong understanding of the importance of communication and be able to work well on your own initiative.
