About the Role

We are seeking an experienced OMS Solution Architect to join our team at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). The successful candidate will be responsible for defining the overall solution design and implementing technical architectures for our Order Management Systems (OMS) projects.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Discovery Phase
  • Enable the team to gather requirements and document them as per industry standards.
  • Analyze the requirements as per the latest Sterling OMS product fitment.
  • Maximize the use of the product to increase ROI for the customer.
  • Guide the stakeholders on requirements and its alignment with the product to bring out the maximum benefit.
  • Correlation between business and technology aspects.
Design Phase
  • Present the overall solution design to the Architecture Governance Body and get the required approval.
  • Draft the Key Design Decisions (KDD) and present to the AG Body for approval.
  • Define the Technology and Components Roadmap for the overall solution.
  • Discuss with the product vendor for any product-level discussion, agreement, and other help.
Implementation Phase
  • Lead and mentor the team in the design and build phase.
  • Ensure any architecture or design changes are communicated with the required stakeholders and get approved on time.
  • Ensure the implemented solution passes through all testing phases.
  • Address any open architecture and technical queries for different stakeholders.
Requirements

Our ideal candidate will have extensive overall IT experience and experience in architecture of OMS Systems. They will also have experience in leading and mentoring teams, as well as a strong background in retail-specific order management system domain experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Discovery Phase:
