We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Operations Assistant to join our dynamic finance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our finance function, ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reconcile daily bank statements and post transactions to our accounting system.
  • Process daily and weekly payment collections.
  • Administer supplier payments and maintain accurate records.
  • Support the team with reconciliations and ad-hoc tasks to prepare management accounts.
  • Prepare and input journals to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Liaise with the operations department to resolve any queries or issues.
  • Provide reports to assist with the audit of financial data.
Requirements
  • Experience of dealing with large volumes of data and financial information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a flair for time management, accuracy, and organization.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • A self-motivated team player with the ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
  • A Level Maths or Accountancy, or working towards AAT, or relevant experience in a similar role.
