Multidrop Delivery Specialist

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Driver Mate to join our team in Ashford (TN23 7DG). As a key member of our Store to Home team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the timely and safe delivery of products.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver products to customer premises on a multidrop basis, working closely with the delivery driver
- Assist the delivery driver in various tasks, including parking and manoeuvring the vehicle, loading and unloading vehicles as needed
- Communicate effectively with customers, providing them with updates on their delivery status and resolving any issues that may arise
Requirements:
- Previous experience in dealing with multi-drop home delivery is preferred but not essential
- Excellent customer service skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
Benefits:
- An estimated annual salary of approximately £27,476.80 based on 40 hours per week at £13.21 per hour
- Potential overtime pay of £19.82 per hour when applicable
