Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out a variety of cosmetic repairs, including stripping, refurbishing, and fitting parts to damaged vehicles.
  • Act as a multi-skilled Smart Repair Technician, undertaking all aspects of the repair as required.
  • Work effectively as a lone worker.
  • Use PPE and adhere to health and safety requirements when carrying out repairs.
  • Adhere to manufacturer repair guidelines when carrying out repairs.
  • Liaise with internal colleagues to ensure effective communication and teamworking.
  • Ensure administration and supporting documentation is produced in line with company process.
  • Work efficiently by adhering to defined repair completion times.

Requirements

  • Valid UK driving licence.
  • Previous experience as a Smart Repairer or Multi Skilled Technician, or in a specialist Bodyshop productive role such as a Painter or MET Technician.
  • Industry recognised qualification is a distinct advantage.
  • Strong team player with self-motivation.
  • Work to the highest standard and demonstrate a sound up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques.
