Advanced Nurse/Paramedic Practitioner

NHS Scotland is seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioner to provide unscheduled care across the Isle of Skye. The successful candidate will work autonomously across Primary, Community, and Acute Services, covering seven days including public holidays.
The Advanced Practitioner will be responsible for the clinical decision-making, assessment, and treatment of patients across various care settings. They will work closely with the multidisciplinary team and communicate with medical staff as needed.
The role includes rotation to the Broadford Hospital A&E as service pressures allow. The Advanced Practitioner will provide assessment, clinical care, and management of both stable and acutely unwell patients and their families.
The successful candidate will be a Registered and experienced healthcare professional with a proven record of continuing professional development. Ideally, they will hold MSc level qualifications in Advanced Practice.
The Advanced Practitioner will work 12 hour shifts across 7 days, including nights, weekends, and public holidays. They will be supported to undertake clinical training as part of their role.
