Refrigeration Systems Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Engineer to join our team at Catalent's Swindon Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Site. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of our industrial refrigeration systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform scheduled maintenance on refrigeration equipment, including industrial and commercial systems.
- Diagnose and repair faults in refrigeration systems, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Record equipment history and complete quality system documentation as required.
- Provide detailed handovers to engineering colleagues and ensure compliance with health and safety procedures.
- Manage contractors and ensure adherence to strict health and safety policies and site procedures.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of innovative solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with current regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Servicing and Maintaining Refrigeration Systems or equivalent.
- F-GAS 2079 CAT 1 certification.
- Proven experience in the refrigeration service industry.
- Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Qualifications in electro or mechanical engineering are advantageous.
- Experience with utilities-specific equipment, such as boilers, chillers, and HVAC systems, is advantageous.
- Prior experience in pharmaceutical engineering is advantageous.
- Freeze dryer experience is advantageous.
- History of shift working is advantageous.
