We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Hillingdon Older People's Mental Health Services. The successful candidate will work across two service areas, our Memory Service and Oak Tree Ward, our Older Adult acute mental health unit.
The ideal candidate will have a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent, and be registered with the HCPC as a Practitioner Psychologist. They will have experience of working as a clinical specialist under supervision in the field of older adult mental health and dementia care, and be able to provide clinical supervision and consultation as appropriate.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a highly specialist psychology service to people accessing Hillingdon OPMH services, including specialist assessment, treatment, planning, implementation, and monitoring of outcomes. They will also be responsible for working as an autonomous professional within BPS and HCPC guidelines and codes of conduct, and guided by principles and policies or procedures of the service.

Key Responsibilities:- Provide specialist psychology services to people accessing Hillingdon OPMH services
- Work as an autonomous professional within BPS and HCPC guidelines and codes of conduct
- Provide clinical supervision and consultation as appropriate
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to older adults
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve service delivery
- Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent
- Registered with the HCPC as a Practitioner Psychologist
- Experience of working as a clinical specialist under supervision in older adult mental health and dementia care
- Ability to provide clinical supervision and consultation as appropriate
